In all parts of the world, women are fighting against the climate crisis. Both visibly, such as German activist Luisa Neubauer, Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, or African climate ambassador Vanessa Nakate, as well as in numerous ways in everyday life. Structural and geographical conditions ensure that women can be particularly affected by climate change. At the same time, they are still underrepresented in political decision-making processes and technical climate professions. We ask international artists: what does the work of these active women for climate protection look like?
