Spontaneous Vegetation
Art Exhibition Spontaneous Vegetation
Berlin is being colonised and sealed up. As in many other cities, empty spaces are disappearing, traffic is on the increase and Spontaneous Vegetation is retreating.
But it is these wild spaces, free spaces, plural spaces, that insects, children, artists, dog lovers, hikers and party-goers search – spaces which also have value for the city climate and ecology.
The artists Tom Albrecht, Ute Faber, Michaela Hanemann, Gabriele Klimek, Doris Kollmann, Helga Ntephe, Diana Toledo present their positions through installation, photography, video and found objects.
