Group Global 3000 wants to increase the attractiveness of the historic market place in Storkow (Mark)<\/a> with the artistic light installation Marktlicht<\/strong> in a vacant house at the market place through art that is generally accessible. Passers-by might wonder what is suddenly happening in the house and stop.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the former Schleckerhaus at Markt 20 is once again illuminated by light in the windows. The theme is the story of recovery, the vision of a lively marketplace in Storkow with residents, stores, people.<\/p>\n

This installation should help  to revitalize the beautiful old marketplace. The rooms, which were dark for a long time, glow again in style with the onset of dusk in changing colors light and dark, depending on the season. The light choreography shows the life of a nuclear family in the house on two days, where the husband goes to work, the child to school and the wife runs a cafe. Passers-by can influence the show by pressing two buttons at the entrance.<\/p>\n

The artist Tom Albrecht<\/a>  from Berlin developed and built the light installation. Ulf Reinhard programs the lighting control system. The photos show the test with two headlights. A mini computer controls 8 RGB and white LED spotlights. Light from LED is an energy-saving way to make a difference.<\/p>\n

Group Global 3000, as a non-profit association, is the sponsor of the production. The light installation is financed by the city of Storkow (Mark), the disposition fund in the support program “Active City Centers” (ASZ) and the Mittelstandsverein Storkow (Mark). Opening 11\/28\/2019, 5pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n
