The motto today is&nbsp; &#8220;Cargo &#8211; everything always everywhere.&#8221; Shop the same clothes all over the world. Containers shipped on air polluting freighters. Things that people don&#8217;t need, offered cheaply. The world of goods is terrific when vegetables and fruit are driven up at the wrong time on the freeway and local residents and the climate are burdened by air traffic. Being able and having to choose from a variety of global goods is freedom. But that also means consuming natural resources, dying regional economies and supporting exploitative working conditions in the distance.
