Ocean. Place of longing and source of nourishment, oxygen producer and transport route, living space and source of energy, holiday paradise and myth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sea levels are rising, land is sinking, corals are dying, plastic forms islands, killing animals, over-fertilization creates dead zones, overfishing destroys income, oil endangers people and animals, beach loss and sand theft. We don’t live sustainably.

About the film:
\nAfter a devastating natural disaster, some people have found refuge in an isolated place in the middle of nowhere. The atmosphere is characterized by colorful carpets, mock bookshelves and plastic plants. In this environment, things obey unknown forces of attraction.
\nIn Elisophie Eulenburg’s film \u201cTomorrow’s Program\u201d fact and fiction tell the contradictory story of a struggle for survival. Interviewees recount catastrophic events as the camera watches them enjoy a wide range of entertainment on a transatlantic cruise. The interplay of the real experiences of the passengers on board and their subjective ideas of a future world with the artist’s visual metaphors result in the interwoven narrative structure of the film.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
